Herr and Frau Usedom have been the proud owners of a small grocery store for many years. Even though the city is now building a modern grocery store right across from the “Kolonialwarengeschäft”, the Usedoms are optimistic. As they say: "We have survived Communism - we will survive capitalism as well." Come and see how they are doing.

Herrn Usedom ist der Besitzer des ältesten Konlonialwarengeschäftes in Neubrandenburg,Er erwarb das Geschäft vor 40 Jahren und führte es auch während des Sozialismus. Renate, seine Frau, half ihm dabei. Zur Zeit baut man einen modernen Supermarkt in der Katharinenstraße. Aber Herr und Frau Usedom sind optimistisch. Sie haben den Sozialismus überstanden, also werden sie den Kapitalismus auch überstehen.
