Pastor Rabe has been the leader of this congregation during the turbulent times of the reunification. Many people came to the church to express their frustration with the state. We are invited to an afternoon service and learn all about the involvement of the church with young handicapped people. Paul Teichert has been working with them for more than 12 years.

Fritz Rabe ist Pastor an der lutherischen St. Michaelskirche in Neubrandenburg. Er erzählt uns, wie die Kirche im Sozialismus vom Staat kontrolliert wurde und wie sich die Oppositionsbewegung unter ihrem Dach entwickeln konnte. Viele Leute kamen vor der Wende in diese Kirche, um ihre Frust auszusprechen. Paul Teichert ist Kirchenälterster und arbeitet seit 12 Jahren mit Körper- und Geistigbehinderten.
